Dear Valued Client,
We trust you are well. I have had difficulty writing this letter. It is with mixed emotions that I announce that Heather retired on January 31, 2026.
We started working together thirty-six years ago, and started Basin Pacific Tacoma together as a team seventeen years ago, so this is quite a change. Heather is doing well and looking forward to taking care of her mother and spending more time with our grandchildren.
When we mention Heather retiring, the next question asked is, “When am I going to retire? I just turned sixty, I feel great (except for being 60), and have no plans to retire.”
Recently, we hired an additional team member, Kathy Hatfield, who is here to assist us during this transition. While Heather is no longer active daily here in the office, please know that our daughter Katherine has taken over for Heather. Along with Kathy and myself, we are here to serve you.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. For the past seventeen years, we have, and we continue to appreciate your continued patronage and look forward to continuing to serve you.
