Flood

The National Flood insurance Program defines a flood as “general and temporary condition of partial or complete inundation of two or more acres of normally dry land area or two or more properties from: overflow of inland waters, unusual and rapid accumulation or runoff of surface waters from any source and mudflows.”
Most people don’t realize that their standard homeowner policy does not include coverage for flood—a specific policy must be purchased if flooding is at all a possibility. We can help you understand what coverage applies best to your property and situation and so you can choose the right policy.
